Description: This is the most comprehensive site for education statistics on the web. It provides information on schools, school districts, and links to state education agencies Make sure you investigate the following: most viewed NCES Sites (pull down menu at the bottom of the page), and Kids'Zone (tabbed menu at the top).

Title: Forum on Child and Family

Description:  A site which pools information from the Census Bureau, Center for National Health Statistics, Department of Agriculture, and the National Center of Education Statistics. The focus is on factors that influence children and their families. Economics, teen pregnancy, enrollment in early childhood centers, and family reading are some of the topics investigated.

Description: Provides a comprehensive list of statistics from U.S. agencies as well as links to these agencies. State and county profiles are included. Information from the National Center of Education Statistics is organized under the headings: crime in schools, finances, international comparisons, and enrollment. Access these headings through the A to Z option.

Description: Interesting site which profiles federal, state, and district populations. Helpful education statistics include - attainment, enrollment, and teacher salaries.
